Oct 31, Celebrated my 22nd birthday. Went to Genting with my girl because we have the vouchers for free rooms and I get free entrance ticket to the theme park (boy we're cheap :p)
Lets start of with the model of the day:

Here we go round and round, round the merry go round.
Dropped by Maredo while on the way back from Genting for dinner. It's an Argentinian steakhouse located in Bangsar, along Jalan Telawi 5.
Started off with Bruchetta (RM 14). Large size with loads of tomatoes, feta cheese and quail eggs.
Squid Rings (RM 9). Quite a large serving considering that it's a tapas dish. Tapas are appetizer dishes in Spanish. Crunchy outside, juicy inside.
Eggplant with pepperoni and smoked cheese (RM 9). The think slices of pepperoni overwhelmed the other flavors. With a piece of bread is the way to eat it.
My main course. Ribeye steak with wild mushrooms (RM 55), mashed potatoes and chimichurri sauce. Absolutely heavenly. Meat is medium rare and well aged. No red juices flowing on the plate as it has been well rested before serving. Chimichurri sauce provides an extra dimension to the meat.
The lady ordered the Pan Seared Black Cod with prawns, sliced potatoes and zuchinni (RM 44). Absolutely loved the sun dried tomato sauce. Very light and refreshing.
Dinner ended with the house specialty. Tiramisu (RM 14) which was served in a long dish, not the customary bowl. Light, lots of alcohol and espresso. Thumbs up.
The whole dinner costs around RM 180 for 2. Thanks dear for the wonderful meal. :)
