Eventful Saturday

Woke up early morning to attend the Sony Alpha Seminar at Le'Meridian Hotel KL.

Realized that most of my shots were under-exposed. Seems that I've turned my LCD screen brightness up a notch too high. Anyway here's a decent one in the collection.

After the magnificent lunch..

Sony does organize lots of events and activities for their customers. Great marketing strategy and a good way to build customer loyalty. ALPHA!!!

After the seminar, went to Mid Valley to meet up with my Malacca friends who were having a gathering there. The sad news is, my phone got nicked while on the train. Sigh, Malaysians will just be Malaysians.

Here's a picture of my lovely sweetheart. :) .. Don't even think about it....

Grace with her graceful pose. Shot by Gary. (The only usable one out of many shots, LOL).

The following photos were taken on Sunday. Instead of creating two posts, I'm just plain lazy so I'll just pile it under one post.

Here's our great thinker.. yea rite.. What's Joman thinking about arr? Joash? :P

And finally, the girl who tries to be cute... but failing. :P

All in all, it was a pretty sad day. I lost my phone, all my contacts, all my data on it. To make matters worst, I have to spend money again to buy another phone.

Passion SUNDAY!!

Awesome time of worship @ Passion Conference KL on Sunday night.

Here are some pictures of the conference. Not very good pics IMHO, but i guess that's the best i have from the conference. Was reminded a few times not to take photos.

Passion!!

A Zoo-ey day.

Gah, Malacca is so boring. Haha, cept for the food of course.

Went to the zoo today for some snapshots. The last time i step into the zoo was like 8 or 9 years ago. Man..

Here's some of them which i considered the best of the shots i took. Took hundreds of shots, but most of them were not to par due to the lens limitation. Oh yea, met an uncle who is using Alpha 350 with a Sigma 70-300mm. ^.^ The lens is friggin long.

Lunch time. Don't disturb me!

What'ca staring at bro?

Food! Food!

Ok, i shall stop the stupid comments now. Enjoy the rest of the pics.

Can't resist not doing a macro shot.

I kinda like this picture. It's a baby calf seeking protection and nourishment from its mom.

Now a trip to the zoo wouldn't be complete without the tigers. :)

Kinda like the way this bird looked at me when i was taking its pic.

And the best shot of the day (me thinks) TA DA!!

Snapshots from Melaka

Here are some snapshots which i took at home in Melaka

Macros of some lovely flowers. No edits done other than resizing.

And the best (in my opinion)

Sunset and the Stig (or is it the stick. ^.^)

Top Gear's Episode 5 available at 3am Monday morning. Can't wait to watch it, hence, The Stig.

Is it a dog or a rabbit? You decide.

Photo of John taken with Sony 135mm STF f4.5

Gawd, i do love the 135mm STF. If only it didn't cost RM 5k.. if only.

Am looking out for a Minolta 70-210mm F4 aka Beercan.

Finally exam's over

Ha. The last exam for this semester is now over. Officially, i'm on holiday. Unofficially, i'm loaded with stuff to do.

Guess it never change.

More photos to come.

You there!

Finger poke by John

Rain rain go away. Come again another day.
Just another random shot of the day while being stuck in traffic.

Eyes of an orphan

This was taken at a visit to an orphanage during the games time. On their faces, we see laughter and happiness. But deep in their eyes, you see the sadness of being left alone, longing for the love which can never be replaced.

An unfair world perhaps, but one which we have to live in. Truly, are they so different from us?
